Published 1 year, 4 months ago in Shopping.Has anyone tried to review a business? I tried to rave about the local greengrocers in my town. But, the name doesn’t come up , therefore I cant review it.
Its called Get Fresh, and it is one amazing place. The produce is fresh as ! cheap as! and even better, the staff are happy. I’ve never come away from there with a negative. Its a great business, and to top it off next door is get fresh meat, which is also, fresh as !! great prices, the steaks are actually cut thick, I could rave on and on……..and once again, the staff go out of their way to give good service. They even have a guy who follows people with trolleys and has a chat to them, then takes the trolley back for them. My only problem is saturdays is so busy its hard to get a park. But I have never seen so many people on a mission to shop there. Its based in Boronia Village, for those who have not heard of it, and well worth a visit. When I had a broken ankle and was on crutches, they were so helpful, and I thought that it was just because, they were being sympathetic, but now i’m off crutches, and i look like one more of the crowd, they still treat you with fantastic service. Sorry to rave, but it is a rare thing nowadays, and I feel like I should share .

I actually shop at Safeway, the fresh food people, but my wife shops at Not Quite Right, which is a bit ferral and bogan.
It is something of a catch-22. Nook draws data from a “sister” site to populate address and telephone fields for your review. But if the store isn’t yet listed on the database at truelocal.com.au, then the review at nook grinds to a halt. It is something we have in our list of future upgrades that we hope to overcome.

It’s really brought Boronia Village back to life - since Get Fresh opened up, all these other shops opened there too, and now it’s back to how it was all those years ago in the era of Franklins and Vergonas.
I gotta confess here, don’t i chaos, theshadow walks past these shops most mornings at around 9am AND ESPECIALY ON SUNDAYS, WHEN HE GETS A BIG PAT FROM CHAOS.

When I first moved to Boronia- 100 years ago, the village was so amazing, and then it died. So yes, Get fresh has saved the place, and now rivers has moved it, food shopping isnt nearly so boring!! Ill try and say hi, if I can spot you in there lady chaos.
Coolies! You can’t miss me - I’m six foot tall with black hair and (usually) a big smile. And my twin sister works in the fruit and vegie shop.

Lady chaos, I’m sorry, I was visiting the mother inlaw down the peninsula. but I did have to laugh…….Youre 6 foot tall? Next time youre looking for me, you’ll have to look down a good foot !!
And theark( I love these names, I always wonder….why that? Like- did you help build it?) But I am impressed with anyone who gives of their time freely for others- very noble. I I would indeed buy a sausage for the cause.

Oh go for it, be my guest. I got all the meat for my sons 21st there, and he gave me a good tip where to get the best deal on the V.B, We were really impressed, He was so helpful. And occasionaly when we get meat elswhere, whilst eating it, the conversation usually goes………shoulda gone to get fresh !!
