Time waster.
Published 1 year, 6 months ago in My life.I have a day off work…..and I’m procrastinating ( i’m the queen of that). I have soooooooo many things that I want to do, and I’m trying to prioratise the want to’s from the should dos to the have tos. And then I remembered this and now I’m friggin around on the computer, putting off everything…….!!!
Imagine, there is a bank, that credits your account eash morning with $86400.00. It carries over no balance from day to day. Each evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.
What would you do?
Draw out every cent of course!
Eash of us has such a bank, its name is Time. every morning it credits you with 86400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever part of this you have failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you, each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the days deposit the loss is yours. There is no going back and there is no drawing against. You must live in the present on todays deposit.
Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in Health, happiness and success.
The clock is running, so make the most of today.

Today is also my day to get everything done - I have no work commitments and the kids have no commitments either.
86,400 seconds have been ticking away today and while I have done quite a few have-to’s, want-to’s and were gonna-do’s I am now on the computer and need to get back to using the rest of today’s deposit before it ticks away! Thanks for stopping my procrastination!!
86400 seconds- does that include sleep time?
I was going to answer this, but I’ll put it off till later!!!!
Don’t forget to stop and smell the roses!
86400 is a big number. How about 30,000. The number of days in your life if you live to be 80 something. Working out where you are on the scale of 0 to 30,000 gives a new perspective. Try it.
The question: is time a “real thing” that is “all around us”, or is it nothing more than a way of speaking about and measuring events? Does time exists only within the created universe?
How fast does time pass?” each observer could have an individual flow of time. Observers at any point in time will always consider themselves to be in the present.
As time passes, the moment that was once the present becomes part of the past; and part of the future, in turn, becomes the new present.
Can you really waste time or is time just an illusion.
this is not really my idea but daves. he says if you find something really boring then youl live longer. this is because boring things always take ages. i think he could be right cause when hes had a few beers he takes ages and i could read a book.
I reckon you will live longer if you have a happy family and happy people around you. And work and help other people - that makes us all feel better.
Living for a long time - no smoking, no drinking, low stress and hugs all round.
Funny how coolbunny and dag123 are always posted next to each other…
