Serendipity.
Published 1 year, 5 months ago in My life.I love finding things unexpectedly, when I’m not looking to find them. So I had to share the fact that due to the post on Colour, I was steered to googling the works of jenny joseph and in particualar her poem warned. So thanks from moi, as I enjoyed her work immensely. Does anyone know of anyone else, who is worth a google???

I too google her and yep she is good. I often google stuff that appears in nook, can be interesting.
I’ve googled both my alias and my true name shadow, I don’t know whether it was vainity though.

lol… it’s tattooed on their chest!
Sometimes googling people from real life doesn’t work, even if they have a huge internet presence. Try googling their email address!
You’d be amazed the things you find out. Also, if you know their full name, look them up on myspace.
But in terms of famous people, I wikipedia everyone and everything that even vaguely interests me. Wikipedia is wonderful… it may not be 100% accurate, but hey, it’s better than not knowing.
I found the works of Poe on the internet!
I read the Warning poem by Jenny Joseph! Hehehe… it’s so cool… I wish there really were people like that around… everyone’s so full of poise and dignity these days.
I reckon wiki is great too Lady C.

Did you find the walls closing in on you when reading Poe?
Perhaps, if you like Poe, you might like P G Woodhouse

I have done so myslf, perhaps it is not really a sin to have an ego- and maybe vanity is too strong a descriptor.

Being a very old man, i had not caught up with the myspace etc, will try and see what happens.
How are the exhibiton pieces going…

Age is a state of mind shadowmaster & I don’t think you’re a very old man even if you’re not hooked up with myspace yet.
Hey viv, you should google veronica shoffstall. She wrote a lovely poem called comes the dawn. ( well actually there is a big debate on who did actualy write it.
And shadowmaster. I have googled my own name, and what a buzz, I’m a nasa astronaut…….how cool is that. but I did google my arty name, and I’m there, which is pretty funny.
Shadowmaster - yeah, it took me a while to finally cave in and join myspace… Compared to Nook and Elftown (another online community) it seemed unintuitive, pretentious and not conducive to creativity… but then I actually gave it a fair go and it’s quite good - it’s still no Nook, but I have found some of the people I knew from high school on there.
Heheh… actually it’s more like the walls are closing in on me anytime I’m NOT reading Poe. I tried to find P G Woodhouse (Wodehouse?), but there weren’t any websites with his work on it.
With exams I haven’t had much of a chance to get any exhibition pieces printed or framed/put on black paper, but hopefully now it’s holidays I can
