Published 1 year, 4 months ago in My life.Tonight I received an email from Trevor, saying that there is only 6 of us, putting work in the exhibition, and that they only really have the promise of 12 pieces? Now, I’ve promised and given dimensions for 5 pieces. I was under the impression that the shadowmaster had 5 also. I add that up to 10. but they ( admin are asking for a committment of 15…….apathy is rife ??? In my understanding, this didn’t have to just be artwork, it could be poems, statues. Cake decorating…Just a contribution to show that we are not mindless morons venting on the computer. Indi ???? Are you going to contribute? I would be interested to see your art. It can be left anonymously if that is what is putting people off. c’mon everyone , they have the wall space, I feel my 5 pieces is enough on my part, because it is not about me, its a group effort, its the nook exhbition. Email Trevor and let him know what you will contribute, even if its only a couple of peices, it will show how diverse we all are.

Just a small point of clarification:
Six people have said they would be interested in providing pieces of art. Only three have so far provided a snapshot of their pieces. The “12″ represents what had actually been seen (as opposed to merely promised).
As a recount, that tally should have read 13 (to include one poem).
The point of last night’s email was to invite those who have expressed an interest in providing pieces to step forward. There was also the option for each to nominate more than five items each if they wish.
PS: Of the five email attachments you dispatched only 3 arrived in our intray. (Did you get a bounce back message on any?).

Hi winnierose - On the “call for work” announcement I made it known to Shadow, and any other organisers of the nook exhibition, that I would be away in Perth directing a show from the 3rd of August until the 21st. In the lead up time I have been designing and making props for a further 12 shows as well as trying to organise my Wedding for September. As you know I am a full time mother of two littlies and unfortunately all these thing combined have prevented me getting work done for the exhibition (and attending). As previously stated I would be more than willing to be involved in future exhibitions and am greatly disappointed that I couldn’t be a part of this one.
Once again I sincerely give my best wishes to the participants of this showing and feel sure with the calibre of people involved that it will be a huge success.
Yep Goldie made it perfectly clear of her intentions, and we eagerly await her participation when she is free of some of her commitments.

hhm……..sorry Admin, I did send 3 pics, but then in a further email, I sent measurements and titles for all 5. Hoping you got that one. I shall email of a pic of the other two.
Indi, you did inded say all that , but I thought, you may have work floating that you could send, But totally understandable with your workload that you dont contribute this time. I think you are amazing doing all that you do, plus the family also.
I am not an organiser by any means of the word, far from it in fact, So, I was trying in my own way to get others involved. Cheers.

We’ve also seen more items on offer from Lady Chaos. So the overall tally is rising.
