ouch, I have several muslim friends and though a couple might appreciate the humour, the others would feel hurt and offended. Like all things (religion especially) there are the raving lunatics/fanatics and these are the people that you usually hear about, but behind them are just your normal, average human been. Yes I did laugh at some bits, but I also cringed inside ‘cos I know this sort of thing won’t build bridges.
Well, for a start, I’m amazed it got past the censors. Taking the Lord’s name in vain is OK but Islam… Oooh!
This guy makes a lot of sense but he goes over the top a bit in the same way that Michael Moore does. He doesn’t raise his voice so appears rational but the underlying message is more sinister.
I believe Government, in all its forms, should be completely secular; no preference should be shown for any religion or religious practices such as covering parts of the body or lighting sacred fires.
Other peoples beliefs that are not offensive should be tolerated - not ridiculed. And any practices, religious or otherwise, that are outside the law should be punished.
